Today I used the new image from Crissy Armstrong 'Doggie Little Graduate'

I made a bookmark for my son who is moving on to middle school next year. I don't know where the time goes!

So I have to show you my inspiration for coloring this guy. I had to color him to resemble one of our 4 dog...lol....Walter!! Here is what he looks like.......

Can you guess which one he is?  He is so full of personality, LOVE that guy!!

Colored him with my Copic Markers. I used one of the sentiments that comes with it. I also used the 'Stitched Tag Die'

Hello! Hope your weekend went well. It has been a hard week here. I came down with Strep which put me in bed for about 3 days.....:( Now I think my youngest has it too......:(

'Paint in Color'

Hello everyone!! Hope your week was a good one. Mine seems to fly by anymore. I finally finished painting the big wall of cabinets in the family-room, boy am I glad it is done. Next is to do the top of the beverage area in the same room. I will be so happy when this HUGE project gets finished!!!!

Anyway....Today I want to share a card I made using a stamp from the new release at Whimsy Stamps from Crissy Armstrong called 'Doggie Artiste'.

I used a Clearly Whimsy set for the sentiment called 'Stitched Alphabet Upper'. I colored the image with my Copic Markers and had some fun with watercolor for the background. I was going to color in the sentiment but I liked it the way it was and then having him doing a little coloring....:)

This is a super fun stamp, I will be using him a lot!!

'Be Mine'

Hello everyone! Hope you are staying warm. I think it is really starting to feel like winter around here....lol!  

Today is the start of a new challenge over at the Whimsy Inspires Challenge Blog and the theme is:

"with love"

I want to share a gift card holder I made using a stamp from the January New Release at Whimsy Stamps by Crissy Armstrong 'Doggie Skywriter'.

I used paper bag from my local craft store, did some gluing to create a pocket and decorated it. I colored the image with my colored pencils.

The washi tape on the top edge helps to make sure the gift card stays in but it is nice and snug on it's own. 

These are super fun and fast to make. I did quite a few of them at Christmas for my kids teachers.

Happy Birthday!!

Hello everyone!! Hope you had a wonderful week. Mine has flown by again. My 12yr old daughter broke both of her front teeth at church so I have been trying to get those fixed....oh my!!! Also I have been trying to do some painting of my wood cabinets in my house. My mom has been here to help me which has been wonderful. 

Anyhoo, today I want to share a card I made using a stamp from last year from Whimsy Stamps.  It is from Crissy Armstrong called 'Happy Bird', Love this cutie!!!

Colored this guy with my Copic Markers. The sentiment is from my favorite 'Everyday Moments'

and the stripe background is from a Clearly Whimsy Stamps called 'Basic Backgrounds and Borders'

Next week is the New Release, January 13-15 be ready to some super cute new images. Also there is a new artist coming Lee Holland.....OMGosh super adorable images!!!

Christmas is around the corner!!

Hello everyone! Here to share another Christmas card with you. I used the new release from Whimsy stamps from Crissy Armstrong called "2 Christmas Tales at the North Pole"  

Copic colored these cuties and added some "Snow Writer" for the snow.  The sentiment is the Merry Large word die which I cut and heat embossed it to give it the glossy look.

Christmas in July is here!!

Ok, so writing this post is kind of hard when I am on summer vacation but it had to be done.  I have to admit I have never done Christmas cards in July but I am still kind of new to the card making scene. So Whimsy stamps is having Christmas in July this month.

For my first card I used a Crissy Armstrong stamp called "Jolly Santa".

I colored this cutie with my Copics and added some snow-tex by his feet for snow. Glittered up some "Ho ho ho's" and called it a day.

Hope this gets you in the Christmas spirit a little....:)   I know it's hard!!!

Party Pig

Hello everyone!! Hope you all are doing well! It has been super busy here. I live in Oklahoma and this week has been a very active weather week. Crazy tornados on Wednesday now Friday they are expecting some and then Saturday could be an outbreak.

Welcome to the final day of the Whimsy release. Today I am sharing a card I made using the new stamp from Crissy Armstrong called "Hedgehog Hamburger"

I used my colored pencils to color this cutie and did a ton of paper piecing. You may not be able to see in the picture but I colored and pieced almost everything using dimensional tape. When I saw this stamp I had to have it because my husband LOVES hamburgers. This stamp will be used a ton for him.....:)
