'Paint in Color'

Hello everyone!! Hope your week was a good one. Mine seems to fly by anymore. I finally finished painting the big wall of cabinets in the family-room, boy am I glad it is done. Next is to do the top of the beverage area in the same room. I will be so happy when this HUGE project gets finished!!!!

Anyway....Today I want to share a card I made using a stamp from the new release at Whimsy Stamps from Crissy Armstrong called 'Doggie Artiste'.

I used a Clearly Whimsy set for the sentiment called 'Stitched Alphabet Upper'. I colored the image with my Copic Markers and had some fun with watercolor for the background. I was going to color in the sentiment but I liked it the way it was and then having him doing a little coloring....:)

This is a super fun stamp, I will be using him a lot!!

Fall Love!!!

Hellllooooo everyone!!! Well here we are with another week gone. I can't believe how quickly time gets away anymore. I have to say that I am super excited to say I have finished a project that has been hanging over my head for some time now. I started painting my kitchen to long ago and finally finished it on Friday......HOORAY!!!!  I am not done with my goal which is the whole first level but it feels great to have it done. 

Ok enough with the boring stuff. Today I am sharing a card I did for Whimsy Stamps.  This week I chose to color one from Jo Davies at Time for Tea Designs "Fall Love".  

I had so much fun making this card. I heat embossed the background and then watercolored over the top. I love using watercolors. Colored her with my Copic markers. I found a leaf stamp in my stash and colored them then cut them out. I did go over the image with my Verithin Prismcolor pencils to add a little depth.

Lizzy Love...."Emi and the Giant Pumpkin"

Hello everyone!! Today I want to share a card from Whimsy Stamps by Lizzy Love called "Emi and Giant Pumpkin". When I saw this one for the first time I first thought of the Peanuts movie with the "Great pumpkin" we watch it every year, the kids love it. 

 

 

 

I colored this with my Copic Markers and layered colored pencil on top to add more dimension. I did a watercolor background. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with the background but this is the one that won out. Coloring the moon was a fun challenge!!

The Greeting Farm "Tuesday Premiere"

Hello everyone! Hope your week is going well, mine has been super busy as usual. 

Today I want to share a card I made for the online store Quick Creations.  I used a super cute THE GREETING FARM stamp called "Tuesday Premiere" she is from the Creeper Crew line. 

I did a watercolor background and guess what kind of watercolors? It is from some Crayola kids watercolors...lol. I think it came out real pretty, love the color combination.  I colored her with my Copic markers and the paper is from Trimcraft called "Floral Pavillion", this paper is gorgeous!!!
