'Sunshine'......shaker card

Hello!! WOW....seems like it's been forever since I have posted anything!! I always think summer will be pool and relaxing but the reality is it is CRAZY!!!  

We just returned from our summer vacation visiting family. Happy to be home though!!

Today I want to share a shaker card I made for my DT project for Quick Creations online store. 

I used the super adorable CC Designs 'Sunshine'

I just love her....so darn cute!! 

I colored her with my Copics. The paper is from Echo Park 'Summer Party'.  I also used the LaLa Land 'Flower Banner' die.

I made a shaker card and stamped the sentiment that comes with the stamp set inside the shaker.  I used some embroidery floss for the string on the sun balloon.  

I had fun with this card! The papers are so bright and cheery and I love the sun balloon!!

May 2016 Whimsy Stamps News and Inspiration Day 1

Hello! It's that time again....hooray!! Time for the new release at Whimsy Stamps, make sure to go to the Whimsy Blog and learn how to win. 

Today I want to share a card I made using the new stamp set from Krista Heij-Barber 'Ice Cream Truck'. OMGoodness this set is sooo darn adorable.

I made a shaker card cutting a heart window with the 'Stitched Heart' dies.  Colored it with my Copics.  I stamped and fussy cut the sentiment that comes with the set so it is dimensional. I stamped the music notes on the inside of the card. 

This card was so much fun to make!!!

'Let Us Eat Cake'---Tiddly Inks

Hello! What a week this is starting out to be!! Found a water leak in our master bath under the concrete slab...argh! Then my son may have fractured his ankle. I will be happy when this hill passes!!

Anyway onto why we are here, to see some CUTE stuff....right!!

Today I used a Tiddly Inks stamp from Quick Creations 'Let Us Eat Cake'.  We have a lot of birthdays this month so this card is needed!!

I made a cute shaker card with the design paper from Echo Park 'Birthday Wishes' LOVE this paper!! Colored her with my Copic Markers and used the CC Designs 'Doodledoo Numbers' for the number 8, this will be for my soon to be 8 year old daughter. I cut the cute hat from the design paper. Added some Stickles and that's it.

Hello everyone!! Hope your week has gone well! I have been busy making Christmas cookies and all the kids activities. Today I want to share a card I made for Whimsy Stamps. It is from the new release in November by Art by Mi Ran called 'Lovely Tracy'. When I saw this I knew I had to do a Valentine's Day card. I know, I know it is 3 months away but that is just what I had in my head...lol!! 

I colored her with my Copics. I wanted to do a shape card so I used the heart die from Whimsy and I also wanted to do a shaker card.

"Christmas in July" #4

Hello everyone!! Hope you are doing well going into this fabulous holiday weekend! This is my favorite time of year and holiday!! Every year at this time I become overwhelmed with emotions knowing that He died for us and will rise again......WOW!!!

I want to share a card I made for Whimsy Stamps.  I used the new one from Wee Stamps by Sylvia Zet called "Springtime". I made another shaker card. I couldn't resist doing another one. I think it worked out well.

I also used the new "Stitched Hearts" die set and the "Simple Sayings Notables 5".  I had so much fun coloring and making this card!
